We run a lean team?
Leverage took on a whole new meaning for us. Creating a core management team that is fully grounded in their gifts and has the clout to pull in the required support was what we chose to do. SDG 17 is all about strategic partnerships, and we would live this out in our organisation, not just talk about it.
Being hands-on, ready to learn and involving our community makes us unique
It is not enough to know what to do. Rallying a community around your vision is also important. Then, sustaining this vision is also a tricky part of the entire process.
We have been seeking knowledge ever since we formally became a group in December 2019. Research, engage, and reengage our stakeholders to get to where we are today.
With over 220 women benefiting directly from our latest activities as of 2023, we continue to strive to create a community around our activities and results.
Here is our engine room.
From your left is Mrs. Priscilla Akpason Ezeiruaku, the Co-founder and project leader. She brings over 2 decades of administrative excellence to the team. Not to mention her passion for building people and hands on knowledge of the shea industry.
In the middle is the Chairman of SIGF, Mr Collins Ezeiruaku. He brings more than 3 decades of strategy, leadership, trade development, business development and effective networking to the team. We have levarged this and continue to do this as we serve our target audience.
To your right is Mz Josephine Abosede Alley is a finance expert who is CFO and COO in one. Fiscal discipline is important in addition to knowing how to work money to get the most out of every dime we receive.
We then leverage industry relationships as we go along. Thus expanding our reach and looking to build out this team further.
